Design and Performance​

Having just received a facelift in 2017, the new Leon is looking better than ever. The redesigned front bumper and grille, as well as the now-LED headlights and taillights, lend it a confident and modern look that can compete with any car out on the road. The same type of overhaul can be found at the rear of the Leon, with more defined lines and a fresher tailgate.

Step inside and you will instantly appreciate the quality upholstery, as well as the enhanced spaciousness. The redesigned Leon 5-door allows for a dashboard that is more driver-oriented than ever, with the controls now being easier to reach and more intuitive than ever, perfectly supplementing the LED driver console.

Drive quality has been improved across the board with the new face lift – one turn of the key and you will notice the improved suspension, handling, performance and fuel economy. In addition to a 1.6-litre TDI diesel that offers 79bhp or 94bhp, you have a choice of three petrol engines.

The most noteworthy petrol engine, the 1.0-litre TSI, is available in either 94 or 113bhp and delivers as much as 64 mpg, with emissions as low as 102 g/km. If you would like even better handling, the XCELLENCE trim offers a softer suspension in addition to 17’’ alloy wheels.
